Hawkins is Finance Director at Markes International, a manufacturer of specialist thermal desorption and mass spectrometry instruments. Markes operates its global business from the headquarters in Llantrisant, exporting 85% of products directly and via subsidiaries in USA and Germany and a network of overseas distributors.
Prior to Markes Hawkins was a Transaction Services Director at PwC running the South Wales team of M&A specialists, having delivered over 40 buy-side and sell-side due diligence assignments. Tim also advised clients in Corporate Finance, securing the sales of Ilchester Cheese, Oliver Sweeney, Elizabeth Shaw, Unite Technologies, and Markes International.
